Window Box Mother’s Day Card

During my internet travels, I came across this beautiful Card and Tutorial Here
I really liked this style of card and decided to make one. With all the flowers I’ve been making lately, I thought it would be a good way to use some of them.
I created this card for my MIL for Mother’s Day.  I’ve been working on it for the last 2 days on and off while doing other things in between. She loves the color pink.
The white Flourish and Flowers on the left are by Sharon. She has taken a break from designing currently.
The heart on the inside of the window is a file from SVG Cuts, it’s a free file which you can find Here 
I printed the heart on glossy photo paper and used Scotch Foam Adhesive to attach it. To pop it a bit from the center.
I did not want to over do it with a lot of printed paper. I wanted the flowers to stand out, that is why I have made it rather plain.
The white rose, in the right hand corner is a flower file by Pam. Be sure to stop by her blog and check out all her beautiful projects.
The pink flowers are Recollections, I have also applied some Rhinestones to the smaller white  flowers.

For the inside, I covered the box with pink cardstock and embossed it with a heart embossing folder. The doily mat is made using Martha Stewart’s Punch Around the Page, Vintage Doily. This punch is very pretty, I like the delicate pattern. I also cut a frame to go around the box to hide the box flaps. I’m still not sure what I will add to the Doily just yet.

I found a nice sentiment for the inside of my card. For the mat, I once again use free files from SVG Cuts. It’s a border that I copied and pasted, flipped it and then welded a rectangle to the center of the borders to create a mat for my sentiment. I printed it on photo paper and cut it out.
